හෙට (14) දින පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබූ අධ්‍යයන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර උසස් පෙළ විභාගයේ භෞතික විද්‍යා පළමු ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍රය අඩංගු පැකට් 06ක් අද (13) දින අම්බලන්තොට ප්‍රදේශයේ විභාග මධ්‍යස්ථානයකින් හමුවීමේ සිදුවීමක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශය සහ විභාග දෙපාර්‍තමේන්තුව විශේෂ විමර්‍ශනයක් ආරම්භ කර තිබේ. අද දින පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබූ සංගීතය, නර්‍තනය සහ කෘෂි විද්‍යාව යන විෂයන්ට අදාළ ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍ර බහාලුම් තුළ තිබී මෙම භෞතික විද්‍යා ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍ර පැකට් හමුවී ඇති බව වාර්‍තා වේ. අම්බලන්තොට ප්‍රදේශයේ පාසලක පිහිටි උසස් පෙළ සම්බන්ධීකරණ මධ්‍යස්ථානයකදී මෙම අනපේක්ෂිත සිදුවීම වාර්‍තා වී තිබේ. මේ පිළිබඳව අදහස් දක්වමින් විභාග කොමසාරිස් ජනරාල් ඉන්දිකා කුමාරි මහත්මිය සඳහන් කළේ, අදාළ ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍ර පැකට් හමුවුවද ඒවා කිසිදු ලෙසකින් විවෘත වී හෝ නිරාවරණය වී නොමැති බවයි. එබැවින් විභාගයේ රහස්‍යභාවයට ඉන් හානියක් සිදුව නොමැති බව ඇය අවධාරණය කළාය. This unexpected discovery occurred at a center established for Advanced Level coordination within a school in the Ambalangoda area. General Commissioner of Examinations, Indika Kumari, addressed the situation, emphasizing that while the packages were found, they had not been tampered with or opened in any way. She assured the public that the integrity of the examination process remained intact. "No question paper package has been opened or released from the coordination center. Furthermore, no question paper has been leaked in any format. I urge all examination candidates not to be alarmed by misinformation and to prepare to sit for their exams tomorrow, the 14th. All examinations will proceed as scheduled at various examination centers, and I kindly request all candidates to arrive at their designated centers on time," she stated.
