මධ්‍යම කඳුකරයට පසුගිය දිනවල ඇදහැලුණු අධික වර්‍ෂාව හේතුවෙන් ගංවතුරට සහ විවිධ ආපදාවන්ට ලක්වූ ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් ඉන්දියානු රජයෙන් සහනාධාර බෙදාදීමේ වැඩසටහනක් (13) දින කොටගල ප්‍රදේශයේදී පැවැත්විණි. කොටගල ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාවේ සභාපති රාජමනී ප්‍රසාද් මහතා විසින් කරන ලද ඉල්ලීමකට අනුව මෙරට මහනුවර ඉන්දියානු නියෝජ් ‍ ය මහ කොමසාරිස් කාර්‍යාලය මගින් මෙම වැඩසටහන ක්‍රියාත්මක කෙරිණ . මෙම අවස්ථාවට මෙරට මහනුවර ඉන්දියානු නියෝජ්‍ය මහ කොමසාරිස් වී.එස්.සාරන්‍යා ( V.S.Saranya) මහත්මියගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් මෙම සහනාධාර බෙදා දීම සිදු කෙරුණු අතර , එහිදී කොටගල ප්‍රදේශයේ ආපදාවට ලක් වූ පවුල් 400ක් සඳහා වියළි සලාක තොගයක් ප්‍රදානය කරන ලදී. - රංජිත් රාජපක්ෂ Indian Government Provides Relief to Flood-Affected Families in Kotagala In response to the recent heavy rains that caused landslides and flooding in the central highlands, the Indian government initiated a relief distribution program on the 13th of this month in the Kotagala area.
