Conversely, the price of paraw fish in the Meegamuwa market has surged dramatically, increasing from Rs. 1,960 to Rs. 2,700 per kilogram, as reported by the Central Bank. While rice prices remain largely stable, some markets have recorded slight variations in the costs of red rice and Nadu rice.
